1-Compliance LLC ("1-Compliance," "we," "us," or "our") is a Delaware limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our websites, use our website compliance scanner, receive our marketing communications, or interact with our advertising and marketing systems, including our integration with LinkedIn (the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: name, business email address, company name, job title, phone number, website URLs you submit for scanning, messages you send us, and billing details (payment card data is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers).

Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps, and cookie or similar-technology identifiers.

Information from LinkedIn: If you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form, click or engage with our LinkedIn ads, or interact with our LinkedIn content, we may receive information through LinkedIn's Marketing APIs, such as the form fields you chose to share (e.g., name, email, company, job title, country), ad engagement and campaign performance data, and aggregated audience analytics. We receive only the data LinkedIn makes available to us under its API terms and your LinkedIn settings.

Website scan data: When you scan a website, we process publicly accessible information about that site (e.g., cookies, scripts, trackers, security headers, accessibility and consent signals). We do not access non-public systems or data.

2. How We Use Information

Provide, operate, and improve the scanner and other Services.
Respond to inquiries and deliver scan reports.
Create, manage, and measure our LinkedIn advertising and marketing campaigns, and follow up with people who requested information.
Send service messages and, where permitted, marketing communications (you may opt out at any time).
Process payments and prevent fraud and abuse.
Maintain security, debug, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use LinkedIn data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to those described here.

3. Legal Bases (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract; our legitimate interests (operating and promoting our Services and securing them); consent (e.g., marketing emails and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising of our own. We share information only with:

Service providers acting on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, email, customer-relationship management, and payment processing providers, bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
LinkedIn, when you interact with our ads and campaigns, under LinkedIn's own Privacy Policy.
Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Successors in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not disclose LinkedIn member data to third parties other than as permitted by LinkedIn's API terms, and we do not combine it with data in ways LinkedIn prohibits.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, analytics, and advertising measurement (such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag, where enabled). Cookies fall into these categories: essential (required for the site to work), analytics, and marketing/advertising.

Your cookie choices on our website. When you first visit www.1-compliance.com, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, decline non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Non-essential cookies are not set until you consent, where consent is required by law. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the "Cookie Settings" or "Privacy Settings" link on our website, which reopens the preference center. Essential cookies cannot be turned off because the site would not function without them.

We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law. For LinkedIn advertising, you can also manage how LinkedIn uses your data through your LinkedIn ad preference settings.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Lead and marketing data is generally deleted or anonymized within 24 months of last interaction unless you are an active customer. LinkedIn API data is refreshed or deleted in line with LinkedIn's retention requirements, and we delete it promptly when you ask or when LinkedIn requires.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and credential protection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other U.S. states with privacy laws may exercise these rights and may appeal a denial. EEA, UK, and Swiss residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise a right, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time required by law (generally 30 to 45 days). To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link or contact us. You can also remove or manage your data shared with us through LinkedIn via your LinkedIn account settings.

9. California Notice

In the past 12 months we may have collected identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, professional information, and inferences, for the business purposes in Section 2. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not knowingly do so for consumers under 16.

10. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there. If you are located outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to the U.S. We use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, where required.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Services are for business users and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-Party Links

Our Services may link to third-party sites, including LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required.
